Example Data Collection 2026
During both days of the workshop, data collection took place during the afternoon using the R/V Gulf Surveyor in the harbor in Portsmouth, NH. The source data from this collection is available here in WIBL form (8.3M) (rendering with Leaflet to the right); see the WIBL project website and wiki documentation for details and where to find conversion and manipulation tools; OpenVBI can also be used to read and process this data.
Example Data Collection 2025
During the second day of the workshop, the NIWA launch Rukuwai II was used to collect data in Evans Bay, demonstrating how to install loggers in a boat of opportunity, and issues with collecting data, data offload, management, conversion, and submission.
